About Ventura Fine Jewellery

Who We Are

Kanta Ventura
Creative Director

Known as the ‘eye’, Kanta is the creative force behind Ventura Fine Jewellery. As a qualified jewellery designer, and former fashion designer, Kanta has one of life’s rare attributes - an unerring ability to conceive of design patterns, colour combinations and textures that consistently deliver a ‘wow’ reaction.

Neil Ventura
Founder & CEO

A highly respected industry figure, Neil has worked throughout his 34 year career with De Beers - a name synonymous with diamonds. Inspired by his grandfather, Leslie Joseph Ventura (himself a jeweller), Neil forged an extensive international career that quickly saw him become an expert in diamonds with a deeply engrained passion for the industry. As his career progressed, he became an integral part of the De Beers Executive team, pioneering change in established businesses, alongside spearheading the development of several new ventures for the organisation. Latterly, Neil assumed responsibility for strategy and innovation for the De Beers Group globally: from Jewellery Sales to mining. In founding Ventura Fine Jewellery, Neil feels his life has come full circle - with the opportunity to extend the Ventura family association with the jewellery industry.

Pritam Mukhi
Director

Pritam is a 3rd generation jeweller and a gemstone and jewellery expert. He has extensive experience in sourcing and valuing gemstones and diamonds from around the world from a network of trusted sources curated over several decades. A qualified GIA gemologist, Pritam is also a former ambassador of the International Coloured Gemstone Association and is a recognised appraiser of fine jewellery.

What We Do

Ventura Fine Jewellery’s ambition is to change the way modern, high-quality jewellery is experienced, worn and recognised.

The foundation of the business is our full spectrum bespoke offering, from the simplest of designs to high end creations.

In addition to our bespoke offering, we bring to market our seasonal collections and one-off high jewellery pieces crafted with a “timeless-contemporary” edge. Whenever we design, we aim to make Jewellery with energy and a point of view that will revitalise how you look, while communicating a personal statement whether subtle or bold, allowing you to look a little less like everyone else.

Our Path to Sustainability

At Ventura Fine Jewellery, we understand that the essence of a jewellery purchase goes beyond its outward shimmer. It's about trust — the trust our customers place in us to ensure their cherished pieces are as responsibly crafted as they are beautiful.

Collaborative Efforts

The path to sustainability is not one we can travel on alone and requires collaboration, recognizing that strength lies in unity, pushing us to work together across the value chain to forge new paths towards a sustainable future. We are committed to fostering partnerships within the industry, working alongside organizations and business allies to champion best practices throughout the entire value chain.

Responsible Sourcing

Ventura Fine Jewellery strives to source the materials used in it’s creations responsibly, respecting ethical business practices, human and labour rights, and the environment.

We are diligent in ensuring our diamonds, gemstones and setting materials, such as gold come from reputable sources, where origins are transparent and verified using well established industry protocols. In practice this means sourcing from members of the Responsible Jewellery Council, the world’s leading sustainability standard setting organisation for the jewellery and watch industry, wherever possible. Outside of this, we only source from trusted suppliers with whom we have built up relationships over several decades, and can provide us with proof of provenance.

Diamond certification

Ventura Fine Jewellery diamonds are certified by one of the few leading laboratories in the world. A certificate issued by one of these laboratories is a blueprint of a diamond and documents its unique characteristics in a precise manner. Whilst we aim to be inclusive on certification, we recognise through our experience that not all laboratories are able to offer the same uniform levels of grading and certification consistency. As such, we will default to leading laboratories as certification from leading internationally recognised laboratories like the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) afford the buyer complete peace of mind.

Innovative materials

In addition to responsible gold sourcing, which includes use of recycled gold, we also seek to incorporate innovative materials such as ceramics, or titanium in our designs.

Craftsmanship and Beyond

Our partnership with the world's leading jewellery manufacturers underscores our dedication to quality and sustainability. We work with our partners to explore ways to continuously improve their contributions to our jewellery story for the benefit of all.

This commitment extends to our packaging, using environmentally responsible materials to ensure our impact is as positive and lasting as the memories our jewellery helps create. For example, our signature, dark grey bags are made of Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) paper. FSC certification guarantees our packaging is sustainably sourced and made in a way that protects biodiversity.
